This office building in central Birmingham was constructed as part of a high profile 90’s development that provided a new commercial quarter for the city. The building now needs an update to reflect current market expectations. The refurbishment covers the reception and the adjacent ground floor Cat A office space. Glazing is to be introduced between the two spaces to enable a view through to the canal beyond and to increase natural light in the reception. The new office space will have a “hybrid” services scheme with the existing waffle slab exposed, giving elegance and openness to future tenants.
